"GP3's Cyber Saturday"

Happy Thanksgiving from George Poe Trio!

While we suspect that most of you still may be a little groggy from sleeping off a tryptophan-induced coma, we wanted to alert you to something happening on this coming Saturday within 'GP3 Land' .

In November of 2004, an overwhelming amount of of online retailers (77%) reported a significant increase in sales on the Monday after Thanksgiving. As this trend continued from year to year, the U.S. trade association coined the term "Cyber Monday'. Much like storefront retailers 'Black Friday' (the Friday after Thanksgiving) sales, online retailers offer huge discounts to their patrons to entice them to amass insurmountable credit card debit with their stores vs. their competitor's outlets. More than 500 retailers offered significant discounts for the 2007 holidays. Regrettably the product team of GP3 totally missed out on this opportunity, resulting in Lee having to sell most all of his plasma to the blood bank to sponsor his kid's Christmas morning.
[In our sincerest Sally Struthers voice impersonation] "Please, don't let this happen again. (sniff) Won't you make a GP3 purchase today? You CAN make a difference.(sniff)"

Ah, but here's the twist: To make up for last year's 'oversight', we encourage you to visit the GP3 'Store' 2 days before the other retailers get a crack at your wallet. Order some GP3 bumper stickers, buttons, t-shirts, calendars, coffee mugs, tote bags, aprons, mouse pads. We even are hawking pet clothing this year! Just order -You'll be glad you did.

Just imagine how smug you'll feel when you arrive back to work next Monday having all of your holiday shopping completed, while your co-workers feverishly click away online. Imagine your supervisor's delight in you on that day, because you are actually getting work done as opposed to all those other lemmings in the office. Who knows, it may even end up in helping you to be promoted (allowing you to buy more from us next year). So embrace your destiny! Buy as many GP3 products as you can before those credit cards are all exhausted.

It's fun, and it's much safer than wrestling a brand new laptop computer from the crazed hands of some cranky, gumbo-eating, hip-hop-dressing, middle-age white woman who spent the night in the local Wal-mart parking lot to save some dough.
